What is Intelligence?

Intelligence is the ability to perform the various task to achieve goals. Intelligence occurs differently to different from animals to humans and some machines. They have numerous ability to perform tasks. When we talked about the machine, generally Intelligence categorized into major four scopes:

            1.Ability to take decisions: When we start to perform work, we need to take decision. The             optimal level of correct and accurate decision is important to get the best results. This is   how actually human intelligence is measure so do machine as well.

            2. Ability to prove results: Once overtaking the decision now it’s time to prove why          decision is important and produce the best output as well.

            3.Ability to think logically: We often get many problems every day in daily life, that is not             hence proved by any mathematical formulae or any algebraic equations. They need to be proved out logically. This ability helps to deal intellectually. 

            4.Ability to learn and improve: Everyday, every time we learn new things, we generate     experience that helps in near future. This equally applies to the machine as well as for the       human. The more external environment we learn, more chances of improvement activities.

So, these above major factors help to measure intelligence for human. Also, in the field of AI as well, which tries to enhance the intelligence machine and system for better decision.

Machine Learning (ML)

Machine Learning is the subset of AI, that enables learning ability automatically and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. This is the process of learning with lots of observation in big data, or any examples or any instruction to identify the pattern and make the strong decision. When we talked about a long algorithm, it’s hard to find for human what data are created and performed. We need machine learning system to identify those data very clearly. Machine learning systems have its own ability to modified itself when more data are exposed. ML is dynamic doesn’t require any human intervention for certain changes. ML primary aim is to allow computers to learn automatically without any interfere of a human. To give an example, you just gather hundreds of thousands or even million pictures of a human along with cat versus they don’t. Now the algorithm works in such a way that builds a model which containing cat or not as well as human. When it exposed to high accuracy level, machine understands or learned what cat looks like. That’s why all the machine learning is AI, but not all AI is machine learning.

 

Deep Learning

Deep Learning is the subset of Machine Learning. Deep, technical terms inspired by structure and function of brains. It’s the interconnecting of many neurons. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is the major algorithm that mimics the biological structure of the brain. Deep ANN is epically designed to solve out various problems, such as image recognition, speech recognition, recommender reminder and so on. The multiple neuron networks are consisting here.

For example, if you wanted to apply ML to chess it might be nice for it and able to learn “deep” learn concepts like the position-independent notion of “capture” or in “check “and so on. More philosophically, it mirrors the structure of scientific discovery: scientists do not simply collect huge amounts of data and answer every question directly from the data. They come up with hypotheses, concepts, etc., to try to understand some of the deep structure of a problem.

 

AI in Nepal

Major questions come to everyone mind, how Nepal will practice the AI kinds of things? Will this be sustainable in the country like Nepal? How will it go up? They are some major and basic question that came to everyone head when we talked about Artificial Intelligence AI in the scenario of Nepal. Right now, AI kinds of things are more new and challenging issues here in Nepal. But it could be one of the best platforms to only countries like Nepal to develop and go into the world of digitalization. Though, Nepal has lots of challenges and problems are on every corner.

Now, let’s talk how AI can be the best platform to the country like Nepal to adopt and grow in future:

a.       Health: Most of the hospitals in Nepal use paper documents instead of electronic recorded data and doctors have same problems of tracking down patient records. AI could be great future in the field of medicine. We can utilize all the medical activities and run simultaneously. We can think of telemedicine, due to various topography situation in Nepal telemedicine could play major role to solve it out.

Additionally, AI helps to analyse the data, notes the record of the patient, external research,      and clinical expertise- helps to select the correct order and information. Next best part about the digital consultation; based on the medical history and report of the patient it guides accordingly.

 

b.      Agriculture: Nepal where 75% of the people are engaged in agriculture people to falsify the need for AI in agriculture. The country like Nepal this AI could use to simulate the soil condition for the crops. Installed cameras in the greenhouse will take frequent images that could solve problems like pests and diseases in the plants. The instant feedback plays the great role to act on it.

Precision Agriculture, is the emerging agri tools that use the advance technology, equipment, and data to analytics to improve crops production. Framers easily analyse the data from their machine, from their fields or even from their satellites that help more efficient and accurate to use the resources accordingly. They could use the natural resources, water, soil, fuels etc to solve down that seen issue. So, the country like Nepal will get more beneficial when AI is used in agriculture.

 

c.       Tourism: Every year more than 0.8 million peoples from all over the world come to visit Nepal and its beauty. We are hoping this number would grow much higher in near future. Nepal has magnificent opportunity in tourism sectors. AI could be the best tool to manage tourism industry, simply we can inbuild the language translation for more easy and natural conversation. AI could help to track down all the travel date, time and guides as well whoever comes to visit Nepal.

 

To sum up, the Global market for Artificial Intelligence(AI) is estimated to post an impressive 36.1% between 2016 and 2024, rising to a valuation of US$3,061.35 bn by the end of 2024 from US$126.14 bn in 2015. Increasing number of companies these days focusing on various disruptive technologies for reaching out to customers effectively. This is one of the chief driving factors of the global market for artificial intelligence.
