The impact of science, technology, and innovation (STI) rules the world now like never. The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the African Union (AU) have emphasized on the importance of investing in STI in the Africa’s STI strategy for the year 2024 (STISA-2024). The AU Agenda 2063 perceives STI as multi-practical instruments and empowering influences for accomplishing mainland advancement objectives. The Agenda, further, underlines that Africa’s managed development, aggressiveness and monetary change requires managed interest in new advances and persistent advancement in regions, for example, farming, clean vitality, instruction, and wellbeing.

The STISA-2024 shall add to the accomplishment of the AU Vision (Figure 1). Because of the cross-cutting nature of STI, STISA-2024 is intended to meet the information, innovation and development requests in different AU financial and social division improvement structures.
